VSS infrastructure
How it Works
The Visual Surveillance System uses various components of the Clarity Visual Intelligence SENSNET infrastructure, combined with a highly interactive interface, the Visual Surveillance Workstation, to create an intelligent security surveillance solution.
- Video Acquisition and Distribution - SENSNET Video Server.
Captures video from analogue or digital cameras and makes it available to the network, the SENSNET applications and the Visual Surveillance Workstation.
- Image Analysis - SENSNET Visual Intelligence Engines.
Uses state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms developed by Clarity Visual Intelligence to analyse video footage in real-time to find 'interesting' or 'abnormal' behaviours or objects in the video.
- Data Storage - SENSNET Intelligence Datastore.
Stores and serves data created by the Intelligence Engines to other systems and the Visual Surveillance Workstation.
- Viewing and Surveillance Management - Visual Surveillance Workstation.
An advanced surveillance workflow tool that provides a highly interactive and intuitive user interface for the viewing of real-time and recorded images and intelligence data for surveillance operations.
- Remote Viewing - SENSNET Remote Viewer.
Provides remote access to real-time and recorded images and intelligence from handheld computers and from other computers which have not been designated as dedicated Visual Surveillance Workstations.
